Checking back in!

Ok so those of you who weren't privy to my situation (which I hope is all of you cuz that would mean you are stalking me) I have a herniated disk in my spine. Basically its pressing on a nerve and it hurts like no other. Anyway, Tuesday I had a cortisone shot (the same stuff they use for arthritis) and It certainly feels like its working. Day 1 right after the shot was the best, although that's because of the prodigious amount of numbing agent they used to disguise the CAMERA THEY SHOVED IN MY BACK. Seriously that's a creepy feeling. Have you ever felt someone scraping around your spine with a tiny camera? No? Lucky you >.< Anywho now on the start of day 3 I should be reaching the "max" relief this shot will provide. Its not totally perfect but jeez it is hundreds of times better than it was. I kid you not this stuff is amazing. I almost didn't believe it this morning when I woke up and could actually stretch my leg out ( oh yea I didn't mention I have to stretch alot to be able to walk!) Hopefully coupling this with Naproxen (that's Aleve for those of you who don't need pills to survive a normal persons day) will allow me to hang out at a normal level of activity, god knows I need to since I've been so out of the loop. Anyway in other news, My roommate and I are in the planning stages for our new web comic using Chibi art and ridiculous exaggerations of our lives here on campus. It has yet to be named, but expect some serious awesome knowing how we spend our normal days. In other other news I seriously dislike getting up so early for class, and will be glad next quarter when I can sleep in a whole nother hour. And I have all cool classes next quarter. Discrete Structures, CS 3, Calc 3, and the mathematics of Statistics (that one is just for fun). Lots of cool stuff to learn out there. Much better than english or humanities. Seriously who needs em. Anyway, as I sit here procrastinating getting up I realize I should be prepping myself for class, so I'm off to do that. Tune in again next time everyone!
